Thoughts from your vacation leader: Gary Hazan
I truly believe that if you haven't skied in Europe then you really haven't experienced everything a ski vacation can offer you ¦regardless of what level skier you are! You just need to be a fun-loving person that enjoys traveling and being part of a great group of people.
The 2012 Ski and See Europe vacation to Val d'Isere, France will be the 16th year that I will be leading a group to Europe. Even after fifteen years and over 450+ skiers, I am continually amazed by what European ski resorts have to offer our group. I am so confident that this will be one of the best vacations that you will take and it will leave the U.S. resorts in it ski tracks.
If you are a beginner skier, the beauty of the Alpine Mountains will overwhelm you and if you are an advanced skier the trails will go beyond your wildest dreams. And that's just during the day! The nightlife is never-ending with great beer, wine and dancing on tables in your ski boots...European style!
This vacation has successfully run for fifteen years primarily by word of mouth and nearly half of the group are people that have been on past trips! That is a testament to how amazing the European skiing experience is, and how well the group of people on the trip bond!
In addition to skiing you will have the opportunity to do some great sight-seeing. We will take a day off of skiing and head to the Annecy, France, which is known as the Venice of France! Additionally, you have the option to extend your vacation for three days to one of the world's most exciting cities, Paris, France.
Here are my top 10 favorite things about skiing in Europe
1. The weather is very mild in Europe in late January!
2. The group's always friendly and a total blast!
3. Partying is unstoppable... blows away anything in the U.S.!
4. The villages cobblestone streets & picturesque Alpine backdrops!
5. Gourmet food on and off the mountain!
6. The skiing is great for all levels!
7. The sightseeing opportunities can't be beat!
8. The Alps are simply beautiful!
9. Making fun of your friends who skied in Utah and thought they had a good time!
10. The vacation is an amazing value when you realize it includes flights, hotel, breakfasts and dinners!
I am very confident that there is nowhere in North America that will offer you all that this vacation will offer you! I truly believe that if you haven't skied in Europe then you really haven't experienced everything a ski vacation can offer you ¦regardless of what level skier you are! You just need to be a fun-loving person that enjoys traveling and being part of a great group of people.
I hope you and your ski buddies can join us... This year promises to be another amazing European vacation!
